Hi, I’m Dr. Robin Piatt, and I’ve been proudly practicing dentistry in The Gorge since 2016. As a mom to three wonderful children (including twins!), life at home is never dull. In addition to my dental practice, my family operates a small cherry farm and an archery shop—keeping us busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! We love exploring the great outdoors and embracing all that farming and adventure have to offer.
Dentistry is not just my career, it’s my passion. I see it as a gift that allows me to bring health to my community and forge meaningful connections with neighbors. I believe in the power of oral health to transform lives, and I strive to provide personalized, compassionate care to each of my patients.
To ensure that I am always offering the best care possible, I dedicate myself to continuing education and staying current with the latest in dental techniques and treatments. I also feel deeply committed to giving back. Each year, I travel abroad to provide dental care to underserved communities in places like Tonga, Kenya, and Mexico, helping people in need and learning from the diverse experiences I encounter along the way.

I am a mom of 2. I’ve been a dental assistant for about 8 years. I grew up in the Gorge, and there is no place I would rather live! When I’m not at work, I’m usually lounging watching a good documentary or movie! My favorite thing about being a dental assistant is getting to work alongside a team that truly cares about our patients. I graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene with my expanded practice permit. I have been practicing in the field for almost 8 years now in clinical settings, as well as outreach opportunities working with underserved populations in Oregon. My goal is always to ensure that every patient feels comfortable, well-informed, and empowered to take charge of their oral health. Whether I’m performing routine cleanings, offering guidance on home care, or helping patients understand the importance of regular dental visits, I aim to foster long-lasting relationships built on trust, education, and excellent care. My approach is gentle yet thorough, and I take pride in seeing patients improve their oral health and overall well-being.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three kids running our hobby farm, paddle boarding, reading, hiking, and camping. We have been in the Gorge for almost 7 years now and we love it here. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

I grew up in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. I attended Pacific University and received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019 and have lived in the gorge since 2020! My hobbies include spending time with friends and family, skiing, working out, mountain biking, camping, mountaineering, swimming, adventuring, cooking, trying new things, and more! It’s a privilege to move your body and I am grateful for each day I can experience the beauty of where we live. Dentistry is important to me because it is so influential and important for whole-body health! I enjoy providing education about oral and systemic health and positively influencing the dental experience for patients. I grew up in Gresham, Oregon, and after earning my degree from Oregon State University, I made The Dalles my home, where I have lived for the past 20 years. Before transitioning into the dental field, I worked in medical and behavioral health. I’m deeply committed to my community and have had the privilege of serving on several local councils over the last four years. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, relaxing at home, enjoying a good movie, or playing video games.
